My husband wants to be a foster-parent. I do not feel I can devote the time needed to be a good foster parent. He keeps asking me to look into it and does not seem to hear me say why I'm not. How do I get him off my back about it? (2:04)
My husband plays very rough with our children. He tosses the baby up in the air and catches him, swings our toddler around by his arms and legs, etc. How can I get him to see how dangerous this is and find other ways to play with the children? (1:45)
I am 43, married and pregnant. Our youngest child is in 10th grade. Calling it a shock is putting it mildly. My husband is starting to get on board with it but I am scared to death. I am not in the best physical shape and cannot imagine carrying a baby to term and then the energy required to care for a baby. Please give me some advice. I am beside myself. (1:44)
My son and his wife are having marital problems. They have not told us themselves, our daughter told us. We'd like to talk to them about it and see if we can give them the benefit of our years. Do you think we should wait until they bring it up with us? We don't want to meddle. (1:36)
When we got married, we were on the same page as far as children were concerned; we weren't going to have any kids. But now, my husband is pressuring me because he's decided he does want children. I still don't want them. This could end my marriage if we can't work this out. Help! (1:41)
My husband likes to sleep in the nude. I think this has the potential to traumatize our kids. How can I convince my husband to put some pj's on? (0:49)
We think that our daughter is about to make a huge mistake in marrying the wrong guy. Should we refuse to pay for the wedding in hope that she won't go through with it? (2:43)
I am the mother of 4 boys and struggling to raise polite sons. My husband thinks all of the "boy" behaviors; such as wrestling in the house, messiness, burping, eating gross things, etc. are funny and is not supportive when I try to correct these behaviors. How do I get my husband to understand I need him to be my partner not just one of the boys? (2:16)
How do we find time as a couple when we are so busy with the activities our kids are involved in? (2:41)
My wife and I have been married for less then a year and she wants children right away. I want to enjoy our time without children for a few years. Can you give us any advice? (2:32)
My husband is a horrible disciplinarian and leaves that role for me. What is the inevitable outcome of this, and what should I do about this? (3:20)
