Marriage Mentoring
I'm in a men's accountability group at my church, and someone in that group said the Bible has very little to say about marriage. I disagreed with him but lately wondered if he was right. Can you help me resolve this question? Does the Bible have anything practical to say about marriage? (1:42)
I am a committed Christian and my husband isn't. Shortly after we got married, I gave my life to Christ when a friend invited me to her church. Since then I have been involved in a weekly Bible study for women and long to go to church with my husband. Needless to say, he is very skeptical and refuses to go. What can I do? (2:04)
We moved to a new city recently and want to find a church home that we both appreciate. We've shopped around a little bit but so far we haven't found a church where we both want to get involved. What suggestions do you have on choosing a church together? (1:30)
Before we got married, we would often read the Bible and pray together. We've tried to keep that up in the last two years of our marriage, but it's not working. How can we have a consistent and meaningful devotional time together? (1:58)
Both my husband and I were raised in Christian homes and are committed believers. We go to church most weeks and have plenty of couple friends who do the same. Is there anything more to being spiritually intimate as a married couple? (2:15)
Our church doesn't have a couples fellowship group and we'd like to be in one. We could go to another church but we'd like to stay where we are. Do you have any ideas on how to start a couples fellowship group? (1:02)
My husband is not a Christian and refuses to attend church with my children and I. How can I convince him to come without being a nag? (1:39)
When we got married, my husband and I were on the same plane when it came to religion. He was even in Seminary. A year later he chucked the whole thing and became an agnostic. I don't know how to deal with this. I love him but my faith is very important and I cannot share it with him any longer. (3:31)
