I feel it is often difficult to connect and fit in with my in-laws. This is often hard to discuss with my spouse. What can I do? (1:51)
My in-laws are very sweet people and I appreciate all their kindness, but sometimes they become so involved in our lives that it drives me nuts. What can I do when my in-laws smother us? (1:18)
My in-laws are not friendly people to begin with but there is no mistaking the fact that they did not give their blessing to our marriage. I had this fantasy that after we got married they would come around, but they haven't. What can I do if my in-laws don't accept me? (1:47)
We both come from loving homes that more or less, support our relationship. But in the few months that we have been married, the infamous "in-law" issue has appeared on the horizon. We haven't had a major blowout or anything, but I'm becoming increasingly fearful. Are conflicts with in-laws inevitable? (1:19)
My father-in-law takes my husband on great all-expenses paid 10-day fishing trips. I want to be happy for him but it uses up all of his vacation time at work which leaves nothing for me and the family. I end up resentful and not being a very good sport as he puts it. What can I do? (1:53)
My husband is very threatened by my relationship with my family. We are very close and my husband is not close with his family. How can I reassure him that he is my priority? (0:59)
I was married once before and have a 6-yr old daughter from that marriage. My husband's family treats her like a visitor not a family member. We have not talked to his family about it yet. What's the best approach to get the result we want without causing a huge deal? (1:25)
I like to be in my own world with my spouse and I don't like others intruding. I just want it to be us. My spouse is ok with it but my family tells me its crazy. Do you think its crazy? (1:38)
My in-laws are jealous of the amount of time we spend with my parents. Is there some way to work it out without letting them dictate our time? (1:36)
My husband and I get along great until we are around his parents. They always bring things up that I do not agree with and they know it. My husband and I agree on the subjects when we are alone but when we're all together, they persuade him every time to take their side. I am to the point of not wanting to be around his parents. What should I do? (2:36)
